Join us for a wonderful and relaxing paddle exploring beautiful Howe Sound. This location offers sheltered waters for paddling with stunning mountain ranges in the background! Restore your balance, and deepen your connection with your body and our natural surroundings with 3-4 hours of paddling, yoga and meditation practices each day. Plan on spending 3 days with plenty of time to relax by the water's edge listening to the lapping of waves and enjoying the serenity of nature.
Jess is a Paddle Canada Kayak instructor and guide, will be your lead guide, providing safety on the water, teaching paddling skills, and cooking delicious meals.
I'll be leading yoga and meditative sessions both on land and on the water. These are aimed at connecting to ourselves and being grounded in the present moment. New to yoga and meditation? No problem, Everyone is welcome!
Hannah’s love for paddling grew on the North Shore of Lake Huron instructing at a mobile paddling camp. She loves calling water ‘textured,’ and helping people have new and beautiful experiences on the water.

Location: We start and end at our our journey from Porteau Cove. Limited carpooling from Vancouver is available, please contact [email protected] for information.
Youth participants: This trip is suitable for participants aged 14+. Youth ages 14-18 must be accompanied by at least one adult.
Experience: This trip is suitable for all levels, no kayaking experience is required.
Accommodation: We will be sleeping in tents. There will be 2 people to a tent, if you are travelling solo we will match you up with a buddy.
Yoga & Meditation: All of our classes are led by a certified RYT 200 hour yoga instructor. Camp mornings will start with a gentle flow and stretches to get ready for the day ahead. The afternoon practice will be a gentle flow with a mindfulness practice to deepen our connection with the natural surroundings. We’ll close our day with an evening breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness practice, leaving us relaxed and ready for a good night’s sleep. If you have any specific requests please let us know or speak to the instructor before the first class. Details are subject to change based on the needs of the group.

Full payment is due 2 weeks before our departure date.

Cancellations made between 7 and 30 days in advance will be given a full refund minus $200. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance will not receive a refund.

What to bring?
Space is limited in our kayaks so please try to pack lightly. The following is a list of suggested items but please check the weather forecast before you pack.
Warm days: Synthetic board shorts, hiking shorts, t-shirts
Cold day: Synthetic layers, long sleeves, long pants or leggings.
Warm pants, fleece, socks for evenings
Base layers/thermals for sleeping
Gloves and toque for chilly nights or mornings
Lightweight wind and/or rain jacket
Hat and sunscreen
Sunglasses with “croakies” or keepers
Waterproof case or ziplock bag for cell phone, camera, valuables
Neoprene booties, water shoes or running shoes.
Shoes for around campsite
Dry bags for packing personal items
